The big winner of the double-gameday from last weekend in the Nationale 2 is AB Contern.               
With two victories over Grengewald and the Hedgehogs, the team of coach Mark Reed is now alone at the top of the Ranking and remains undefeated.

Behind them, Black Star and Racing come with three wins and one defeat. Mersch had two big victories on the road against Bascharage and Mondorf while Racing defeated Kordall and Kayldall behind the efforts of the new american Scott Morton.
Behind these three teams, there is a group of four squads with a balanced record so far. BC Mess looks so far as the strongest team of this group but their defeat against Grengewald showed also that the league is unforseeable.
The Hedgehogs suffered from the loss of their Luxembourgish-assimilated top scorer Ivan Tomas and got their first defeats of the season. Mondorf made an important step forward by beating Kayldall who will have to find the upwards trend after the injury of Arpad Buzasi.Pall Arel used the weekend to earn their first win against the still winless Kordall Steelers.
The 5th day of the regular season this weekend will see the duel between AB Contern and Mondorf. The leaders of the Nationale 2 should be able to earn another victory as Mondorf’s offense is limited to mainly two players in Yves Braun and Trenton Wurtz while Contern has a pretty balanced team. The game between Bascharage and Grengewald will be highly interesting in order to see which of these two teams might play for the sixth spot. Racing should have no major problems to overcome Pall Basket Arel while Mersch has to travel to the South to play against Kordall. BC Mess will play against Kayldall only next Wednesday in a game that the home team will normally win after their motivational boost through the elimination of BBC Nitia in the Cup.
