Luxembourgish clubs in the future with 3 import players?

It seems that the rules of the Luxembourgish basketball will be changed soon and that the clubs could use three instead of two import players in their squad.       

Nowadays each club of the first two divisions has the rights to have one EU-player and one foreign player, that is not considered as EU-player, in its team. As the European Commission forces the FLBB to change something and as the offer of the FLBB to introduce a 5-4-3-system (five „homegrown players“, a minimum of four players that can play for the Luxembourgish national team and three foreign players) has been denied by the people in Brussels, it seems that a 9-3-rule (nine homegrown and three foreign players) could be established in the national basketball soon.

Where are you at, what do you do?
Right now I am living in Portland, Maine. I am still playing basketball.
Do you still play basketball?
I just officially made the Maine Red Claws, a 2nd year NBA Development basketball team. Still pursing my career in basketball til I give it up for good.

Do you still think back to the time you played here?
I still think back to some of the good times that I had there. The basketball schedule was great because it gave me a chance to explore Luxembourg, as well as other countries…
Any positive/negative things about Luxembourg?
Some positives would definitely have to be the fact that I was able to travel, also being the only american made me step up a lot and be a better leader. All of the players looked up to me, so that felt great. I wished that we could have been able to go to different countries to play other teams.
Are you still in contact with some people you played with or met here?
I am in contact with some of my old teammates from BC MESS. They were all great guys. BC Mess, both womens and mens teams took me in as one there own, and made me feel comfortable. I also keep in touch with most of the americans that I met while in Lux. I miss them all, and can’t wait to come back to Lux to visit. REAL SOON
