Voici le programme des matchs du BC Mess pour ce dernier week-end avant la trève pour le vacances de Carnaval.     
                                                  


A noter que notre équipe Minis a encore un match de championnat en retard à jouer le Samedi 12/02 (15h00) à Mondercange contre Soleuvre et surtout sa demi-finale de Coupe du Luxembourg contre Sparta, le Mardi 15/02 (17h30) à Mondercange

The second-last gameday of the Nationale 2 brought additional decisions as Racing Luxembourg is now sure to be in the Play-downs while US Heffingen and BBC Nitia qualified for the Playoffs.
In fact, the current situation only allows BC Mess and Grengewald to dispute the last place in the Top4 as any two-, three- or four-team constellation would mean that the decision will be among these two teams.
Heffingen did their job by destroying Arantia while BBC Nitia needed a bit more work in order to overcome the Red Miners in Kayl. The decisive game for Racing was the loss at home against Grengewald. With a reduced roster, the team from the capital could never put the Greens in trouble that keep their chances alive until the last game.
BC Mess on it on the road and have now the better cards in their hand in order to reach the Play-offs.

The game to follow will be played on Saturday in Mondercange where the locals will play against Grengewald in a Final. Mess qualifies with a win but a defeat would mean that the calculators have to be taken out. The team of coach Alff won by 6 points in Grengewald, so that the guys from Hostert need to beat Mess by at least 7 in order to qualify.
But this is only true if both Heffingen and Nitia win their last games respectively in Kayl and Larochette. If one of these two loses, there could be a three or even a four-team situation as all of these teams won against each other once. Depending on whom will join Mess and Grengewald in the tie, the victory of Rainer Kloss’ team needs to be higher than the above mentioned 7 points. In the four-team situation, a win by minimum 17 points is necessary while the three-team situations would need double-digit victories as well (min. 11pts if Heffingen joins the tie and min. 12 with Bettembourg). Mondorf on the other hand travels to Luxembourg-City in order to get already a win accountable for the Play-offs.

Notre jeune espoir Jo Hoeser sera absent pour une période d'environ 6 semaines. Il s'est blessé au pied (orteil) lors d'un entraînement à l'INS, la semaine dernière. Il devrait retrouver les terrains à la mi-mars pour le début du tour final. Nous lui souhaitons un prompt rétablissement.

Des nouvelles de Tim Steffen, notre jeune Forward a été opéré (ligament genou) avec succès vendredi dernier. Il quittera prochainement l'hôpital et pourra commencer sa convalescence.

The 12th round of the Nationale 2 saw the first decision of the season with the qualification of Avanti Mondorf for the Play-offs. The team from the South managed to beat Grengewald in their gym by only 4 points but this was enough for being at the top of the table now. BBC Nitia lost a crucial game at home against US Heffingen. For the team of Bill Paterno, this win meant a lot as they have now by far the best position in order to qualify for the Play-offs as well.

BC Mess killed Racing by nearly 30 points which is highly important and might mean the Play-downs for Racing as they have now a bad situation concerning the point average against Mess and in a multi-team situation including the Greens. However, Mess announced the season-ending injury for their young forward Tim Steffen which is a bad situation despite the return of Chris Schreiner.
The Red Miners won in extremis in Larochette and created a small gap in order to save their life in the Nationale 2 this season.

Gameday 13 can be a decisive one for several teams. While the already qualified Mondorf team hosts BC Mess, the most important match-up will be played at the Tramsschapp between Racing and Grengewald. The loser of that game only has theoretical chances left to reach the Top4, all depending on the results of the other games. As Heffingen should have no problem to beat Larochette and Nitia travels to Kayl, it could be that most of the decisions are already there on Saturday evening. But Kayl is always tough to beat at home and Nitia did not play that well the last games, their might be a surprise in the air. Grengewald can reach the Top4 by winning their last two games against Racing and BC Mess while Heffingen and Nitia both play against the two last teams in the Ranking. The situation at the moment is highly complex and all might as well be decided on the last gameday. We will see…

Notre jeune espoir Tim Steffen manquera pour le reste de la saison 2010/2011. Il s'est sérieusement blessé au genou lors de la 1ère mi-temps du match du 15 janvier contre BBC Nitia. (Défaite 79-77). Les ligaments étant touchés, il devrait se faire opérer prochainement et ne pourra reprendre l'entrainement que dans plusieurs mois.
Nous lui souhaitons bon courage et bonne rééducation, pour qu'il nous revienne en pleine forme pour la prochaine saison.
