The Nationale 2 BC Mess has announced the signing of Dominique Lacy for the Play-offs to replace Eric Breland. Lacy has played College Basketball with the University of North Carolina-Wilmington but finished his career after his Junior season. The 2m01 tall forward averaged 5.5ppg and 2.9rpg during the season 2009-2010 and has not played basketball since. The 21-year old Lacy has already arrived in Luxembourg and will try to help his team to win the most games as possible in the Playoffs.

After topping all scorers in the Nationale 2 after the first seven games, the US-import from Nitia Bettembourg even extended his lead to the rest by playing an incredible 2nd part of the regular season. The former player of Lock Heaven (NCAA D2) and Black Star Mersch averaged 31.1 points per game in the first half of the season, Billy Arre finished the regular games with an incredible 35.6ppg which means that he had an unbelievable 40.1 points per contest in the second half of his stay in Bettembourg. He was also responsible for the highest individual score of the year with 57 points against Grengewald Hostert. While Arre had the company of his team mate Stephane Ribeiro on the top of the Ranking concerning the Luxembourgish players, the athletic forward from Bettembourg had a slower second part of the season and it was the Racing guard Andy Schammo who took over the lead. Schammo finished the regular season with 17.7ppg and had 21.0ppg in the last seven games despite a poor scoring effort in Larochette. Check out the Top 10 of scorers together with our individual trophies of the regular season.
